Catanduanes Philippines

Are you a nature lover?
Do you also love to travel?
Have you wondered where can you find a relaxing place for you to have a vacation?
Island of Catanduanes in Philippines is one of the place that i can recommend.
Why? Because, there's a lot of places there that you can truly appreciate, if you are really
a nature lover.
Catanduanes has so much to share, like virgin falls, beaches, mountains, nice people, cultures and more.
Just this year 2007, last April, we've been in Catanduanes and i have to admit that i liked that province.
We had a mountain hiking, quite far from the Main City of Catanduanes.
We went to a place called Genitligan BARAS and we did Mountain Hiking there and it was really fun,
and we also went to one of the falls there in Catanduanes that could be found also in
Brgy. Genitligan.
From the end of the river, we had to climb up to the water falls for about almost 2hours.
It's really tiring, as going up there wasn't that easy.
But when finnaly get up there, and see the beauty of the Falls called Minasada falls,
It was worth it!
The water is cold and its about 13feet deep.
There's also a fish in there and we tried to catch some and its really fun.

Another wonders in Catanduanes that you must visit when you travel there is the Puraran Beach that located in Brgy. Puraran BARAS, also quite far from the main City.
But don't you worry, as the resorts in Puraran have cottages and hotel that can accomodate you and it's not really expensive, it's very affordable.
Actually, Puraran Beach is devided into two resorts, called Puraran Beach Resort and White Beach Resort.
The beach has a fine white sand that simply looks like Boracay in Visaya's Region.
But the good thing is, Puraran Beach is not that crowded as it's not that popular yet though there's a lot of foreigners now who comes and visit there.
And in fact, there are some foreigners who chose to put up business there already and houses near at the beach.
The Puraran Beach is pretty and getting more prettier as time goes by.
And for your information, It is now declared as One of the International Surfing spot!

Not to mention the other places and promising tourist spots in Catanduanes.
You can find it yourself i swear!

You will enjoy your stay in Catanduanes when you travel there.
From Manila, you can take a bus in one of the Terminal in Cubao going to Tabacco Pier (Albay)
And from Tabacco Pier, You have to take a boat that going to Virac Catanduanes.
Virac is the main City of Catanduanes.
And when you get to Virac, there's a lot of hotels and cheap lounges to choose from.
To be able to go to far places in Catanduanes, there's a buses and other transportation to choose from.
Or if you want to go to Catanduanes via plane from Manila for saving more time travelling,
you can also take a trip in Airplane, and it will take you direct to the main city of Catanduanes, Virac!
